Oof, I hear you on juggling multiple characters across distances with horseback and ship transportation. That's happening right now in my fantasy novel. Earlier books in the same world ended up with me doing a detailed scene matrix so that I knew who was where doing what and when (coordinating a simultaneous attack on a tyrant AND on an outcast God across two continents separated by an ocean is...challenging).
I have just finished a similar matrix. I’ve done two characters before, but five — well, you know. But as challenging as it is, I’m enjoying it, pluse I figure the complexity is good for my aging brain.
A tyrant and an outcast god… the odds don’t sound good!
The migration of the hummingbirds seems so staggering, so unlikely. Nature is full of such wonders.
Looking forward to the next installments!

Oh, the protagonists prevailed in the first series. But...now it's time to pick up the pieces and OH THERE IS A MESS.
In my case it was four POV characters and...ei yi yi.
But messiness is what make a story!
I enjoyed following along with audio!
My home area's a favorite spot for monarch butterflies and their migrations. They still have a pretty big tagging program over there.
Oh good! (to both). I’m glad the audio works. I’m just getting the hang of it. There’s a tagging program here, too; good work by good people.
