I’ve only ever tried it once, but it didn’t work. There were other characters whose heads I needed to explore and you can’t do that in a first person narrative.
Everything I've written to date is 1st person, although usually past, with either one or two POV characters. The new book(s) are third, because they have multiple POVs, but it's not my natural voice.
