For Eudekia, yes. I realize this had spoilers for anyone reading Empress & Soldier, but almost thirty years has elapsed between the end of E&S and this scene, and there’s a lot of story in between.
Nobody expects a character to live forever or never age. She obviously deserves a whole story, not just the story of a young girl.
